An "Everyman" character delivers three brief monologues. After each one, two or three guilt figures with small black slates mark down his "sins" while saying, "God is gonna get you for that " Guilt ridden "Everyman" has finally had enough and he cries out to God only to discover that instead of "getting him," God forgives him.
