This white stole was designed for the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima.
The circular lines in this design are parts of concentric circles that represent the community gathered around the figure of Mary on the square of the Sanctuario, each alone but united in prayer. A community that is composed of men and women from all over the world. The white fabric refers to the immense light during the apparition of Our Lady. The gold and silver thread used to embroider the lines refer to the ornamentation on the vestment of Our Lady.
Sentia fabric, 55% silk and 45% man-made fibres. With machine embroidered lines in gold, silver and old-gold threads.
