In From the Mists of Time, the author and artist Trudy Myrrh Reagan provides an intimate account of her early life from childhood through high school in a lively collection of poetry and prose accompanied by her own illustrations done as early as 12 years old. She takes us on a journey of people and places she experienced living on the Eastern Seaboard in Washington, DC, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, and the South in Tennessee.
She is a born storyteller with an amazing power of recollection with an ability to transport her audience in time and place with vivid description and marvelous detail. In telling her stories, she fully inhabits what she experienced as a child-told to us with the well tuned mastery of her grown up self in her retrospective look at the early version of herself and her surroundings. We are grateful for the opportunity to discover and learn what she did up to this point in her life well lived.
