A fun and challenging way to dig into the Bible
In fall 2012, a new show premiered on the Game Show Network and quickly surprised Hollywood and beyond. Hosted by Jeff Foxworthy, "The American Bible Challenge "built up an audience of 2.3 million viewers over just nine weeks' time, making it the highest-rated show ever on GSN. By taking on unique questions spanning all of Scripture, teams excitedly participate while trying to win money not for themselves but for a favorite charity. The interest has only grown in recent months and the second season hits the airwaves in March 2013.
For the first time in print, the consulting producer for the show, Troy Schmidt, and the host, Jeff Foxworthy, are coming together to release a daily reader designed to take us deeper into the questions from the show and the life applications that they inspire.
Using topics from the first season as a guide, each day features an inspiring lesson along with five questions to take you deeper into Scripture to explore the answers. The book takes readers through nine weeks of study and encouragement and over three hundred questions. For those who can't wait, all the answers are in the back.
