Elizabeth was born to a father damaged by war and life. Her life would grow from the emotional and circumstantial swirl of family life defined by its pain and hurts. It meant foster care and adoption. She owes much to well-meaning individuals, certainly. But her introduction to Jesus would give her a new path. A path increasingly lit with God's love and redemption, ultimately leading to a joy unspeakable. To a life filled with love and purpose, where once dark voids and pain had encamped.
